The Body Shop: Camomile Cleansing Oil Review

This new Cleansing Oil from The Body Shop aims to effortlessly remove make-up (even waterproof) from the whole face quickly and effectively, leaving skin feeling clean, refreshed and clear of impurities. It is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin which makes it an all round cleanser. The Body Shop also state that it can be used by contact lens users which is also a bonus.

My Review: I have only used this product around 4-5 times but as a makeup remover I feel like this is enough to review it on. Overall I am very pleased with the product however there are a few things that i'm not to keen on. So to start the name 'Silky Cleansing Oil' is defiantly 100% percent correct. Its super oily, which really isn't a bad thing even for oily skin users. I have oily skin myself and find that it leaves my skin feeling super silky not like other cleansers which are aimed at oily skin and leave your skin feeling tight. This cleanser manages to clean of my makeup super quick even my waterproof makeup like it states it should. This cleanser certainly doesn't strip the skin and helps keep the naturals inside of your skin. It is important to rinse of after use though as you certainly cant keep the oil laying on the skin, not thats its bad for it but it honestly feels discussing, but honestly once removed I feel that my skin feels a lot cleaner and fresh.

How To Use: Its so so simple. Just pump id say maximum of 2 pumps onto a cotton pad and wipe across the whole of your face to remove all of your makeup and impurities. Be careful though, as one thing I did find was that the pump was very fast and tended to squirt the oil not just onto the cotton pad but onto my carpet too. Also be careful when removing eye makeup that the product does not get into your eyes as from experience it can blur your vision and can be a little un comfortable. And remember that after it has removed all of your makeup rinse well with water.

Overall Review: It is a super cleanser and makeup remove which I would defiantly recommend. The bottle itself is super cute and looks great, although that isn't important at all, its the product inside that counts. After trying it on my oily skin I would say to anyone looking for a makeup remover this is defiantly the one, although you may prefer one that you are used to. It currently retails at £10 in The Body Shop store which may seem a little pricey but if you'r like me and like to treat yourself then I'd say go and buy it. I think thats all for now.
