Hey guys! I apologise for the late ness of this post! Its been around a week since my last post but i've been so busy with work and college etc but i've finally got round to posting. So as you can see this post is about my Body Shop Tea Tree products. Recently I've become rather addicted to The Body Shop and I just can't keep my hands of with all of the product offers and sales. Anyway, I just wanted to talk you through my experiences with some of the products, although I won't be too detailed or else it will take me forever. I haven't used all of them yet, but most of them I have and I have to say I love them. And just to make it a little easier i'm going to talk through the products from left-right in the picture. Just to point out, I apologise for the length of this post, but if you find you just want to read about one certain product then I have highlighted the product names so you can find the one you are looking for easily.
First up is the Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion. This product aims to replenish moisture overnight as well as giving clearer looking skin and leaving the skin looking matte. Its also a soothing gel made for blemished skin. You may if you've read my posts before know that I have combination/oily skin so this product is great for creating a matte feeling as well as reducing slight redness overnight. This overnight Fade Lotion is currently £9.00/30ml and is so simple to use. Simply smooth onto the face after cleansing and toning before you go to bed.
Next up is the Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub. The scrub "combines micro exfoliants with bursting beads to help unclog pores without over-drying."Its a great product for blemished skin and really does leave skin feeling super soft. I always find that after using this product my face feels extremely clean and freshened. The micro beads are small enough to scrub away all of that excess dirt without feeling to harsh on the skin, and I would say that this product could be used for any skin type but especially blemished or acne prone like it suggests. You can currently buy this product for £6.50/100ml.
The next product in order is the Tea Tree Skin Cleansing Lotion. I happen to own the 15ml one of these which is currently £3.00, although I can't seem to find these small ones in store. There is however the larger one of these which is £8.00/50ml which you can buy in store or online. This is a great little product to use after the Tea Tree cleansing regime. It aims to provide lightweight hydration which is easily absorbed, with a built in shine control for a matte finish. This product is so easy to apply simply apply to your face or neck daily after cleansing. My skin instantly feels matte after use and its a lovely little product to add to your regime.
My next product the, Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser is described as a refreshing instant foaming cleanser for blemished skin which gently but effectively cleanses skin, removes makeup and impurities and will help keep skin blemish free with regular cleansing. I haven't yet used this product but I can't wait to. If any of you have used this product or any of the others I'd love to find out how you've got on with them. So let me know!
The next product I own is the Tea Tree Cool and Creamy Wash. Its one of The Body Shops new products that leaves a cool cleansing sensation and is perfect for blemished skin. I find that this product leaves a very cooling and refreshed feeling on my skin as soon as I use it. Its extremely creamy and is designed to help remove impurities and dirt from the skin. I certainly find it does exactly this. I also think that it is a perfect way to wake up my skin in the morning, although I do use it at night also. You can currently buy this product for £5.00/100ml which I find is a bargain as I absolutely love this refreshing wash. I love it so much that I even have another one of these for when I finnish it.
Another product in my collection is the Tea Tree Face Mask. I really love this mask, and think its great for cleaning out all of those clogged pores which are filled with dirt and oil. Its another product which helps reduce impurities as well as absorbing any excess oil which you may not want on your skin. Like all of the other products its one for blemished skin - like the whole range and should defiantly not be used by anyone with sensitive skin as I find it can sometimes create a tingly feeling when in contact with the skin. Its not like any other mask that will dry, this mask remans soft on the skin and will come of in a touch. If you use this product it is recommended once or twice weekly depending on your skin type. So if you have more oily skin and its not sensitive I would recommend twice a week depending on when you feel you would like to use it and how often your skin produces excess oils. When using the mask you should leave it on for 5-10 minutes, although I have left mine on for 15 before. This isn't recommended but will cause no harm to the skin I just find that it may be slightly difficult to wash of afterwards. Although this product is great it could be seen as slightly pricey at £10 depending on your budget. I happen to also have two of these as I absolutely love it. One other great thing is I find that it lasts forever. Although the pot is quite small I have used it around 5 times and its hardly made a dent in the tub.
The Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash is another one of the products that I haven't used yet. Just like another other facial wash simply massage into the skin with your fingertips and then rinse away with clean water. The wash aims to help reduce impurities and is clinically proven to give clearer looking skin. I can't wait to try this product out and if any of you have used this product I'd also love to find out what you think of it so please let me know below! Oh and just to let you know this product is one of the cheaper products in the range at £5.00/250ml.
Nearly there guys I promise! Im going to go straight to the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner. I love this product yet again but it is defiantly not one for anyone with sensitive skin. I find that as soon as I smooth it onto my cleansed skin with a cotton pad my skin instantly feels sensitive. My face goes a little red after using it and also stings a little. Im still not sure if thats any good for my skin as no other products from the range do that. But if any of you know the answer then please let me know if thats good or bad! It is extremely good at creating shine free skin though and can easily remove any left over traces of makeup that may be left sitting on my skin. Its so easy to use, simply shake well to active the mattifying powders and squeeze a generous amount onto a cotton pad and then sweep across the face and neck. This product can also be brought for £5.00.
Only two more products left I promise! Next up is the Tea Tree Oil. This can be a rather pricy product selling at £7.00/10ml. Its targeted for blemished skin and can be used directly on the skin. Its a great little product as it does it job as well as not drying up the skin. Because it is pure Tea Tree Oil it contains even more antibacterial properties that really get to work on any blemishes. I've only used this product around 3/4 times and it can be applied directly to the skin using fingertips or cotton pads - I tend to use cotton pads just to ensure that the oil being applied to my skin completely oil and dirt free.
Last but not least the Tea Tree Pore Minimiser. This product acts exactly like a primer - well because it is. It retails at £7.50/30ml and should be smoothed onto the face before the use of makeup or after moisturiser. I like this product as it removes the oils from my skin and makes it easier to apply my makeup. I also find that during the day it will take slightly longer for my skin to become oily, compared to if I did not wear it. Its great as it helps make your pores look that little bit smaller and leaves your skin smelling fresh as well as looking fresh. If you love The Body Shop or their Tea Tree products its a real recommended one from me.
And thats it guys! My product reviews are complete. Let me know if you've tried any of these products and what you think of any thing - any good or bad comments to make, i'd love to hear from you! Until next time!
