Hey!

Welcome to my beauty/skincare blog. The idea for the blog came from all of my recent purchases. Recently I have purchased way to many skincare/makeup products that I thought just have to be reviewed. I have brought all kinds of skincare branded products and  would like to share my likes and dislikes and what works and what doesn't. For me, anyway! 

Before I get blogging, here's a little introduction to the type of skin that I have. Since around secondary school age, i'd say year 8/9 my skin started to develop small spots. Ones that would appear every so often, here there and everywhere really. This is common for young girls at that age. Some people develop them and some people don't and I just happened to be in the large majority that did. 

Over the next few years my spots developed but not severally. At the age of around 13 I gained more and more spots, something that no girl wants. But like any other, I dealt with them and just left them until they shortly disappeared, although not completely. At that age, I knew very little or lets say near enough nothing about skin care. I never used to wear makeup either. I'm going to be honest but i'd never really known about many make up and skincare products and what was good for my skin and what wasn't. 

When I reached the age of around 14/15, they started to come back and this time they weren't going away and thats when I wanted to change. I wanted to look after my skin like some of my other friends. I'd buy the cheap moisturisers and cleansers but I have no idea what effect they'd have on my skin.

I am now 17 and I still have the odd spots that love to appear on my skin but my skin has changed quite a lot since then. It's not until around half a year ago that I really started to shop in Boots etc for Toners, and skincare products that would help my skin. I have skin that tends to be oily/combination so shopping for oil free products and tea tree products etc has really helped.
