LUSH Dark Angels Review

I recently purchased this fresh cleanser from LUSH named 'Dark Angels'. Its a cleanser made for oily/combination skin and is made from many natural and safe ingredients. Here's a quick breakdown of what each ingredient does.

Rhassoil Mud (for cleansing and de-greasing), Organic Cold Pressed Avocado Oil (which softens, reduces spots and appearance of scars), Glycerine (for moisturising), Powdered Charcoal (to absorb excess oils from the skin), Black Sugar (which stimulates and exfoliates the skin) , Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate (which cleanses), Perfume, Linalool (soft, sweet odour), Sandalwood Oil (clarifies acne prone skin) and finally Rosewood Oil (which keeps the skin fresh and clean).

"Its made to gently exfoliate and absorb excess oils to leave dull, oily and acne-prone skin with a clean, matte finish. Even oily skin can be sensitive, so this product is made so it can calm redness and irritation. Rhassoul mud deep cleanses to help prevent breakouts while vitamin rich cold-pressed organic avocado oil nourishes skin to leave it soft and hydrated."

How to use:

 Before use you should dampen your face with water. Take a very small piece and place it into the palm of your hand. Very carefully add water to the cleanser, but not to much to create a paste. You should apply the cleanser gently using circular motions. After applying all of the product carefully its time to rinse it of. Once rinses thoroughly, pat your face dry!  Remember not to rub your face! Once its all rinsed of, the steps to cleansing your face are complete. Its entirely up to you how often you use it but you should use it before the expiry date stated on the product and approximately use around once a week.

My Review:

In my opinion I do actually love this product. My first initial thought was that the product wasn't too great. Im not particularly fond of the smell but the more you use it I suppose the more you get used to it. When using this product I found that it does make quite a lot of mess, but you definitely shouldn't judge, until the end results. It does make my skin feel soft and it really does cleanse my skin. I don't know how long the product takes to make a real difference but it's defiantly a product for acne prone skin. 

The reason I brought this product was because of the amazing reviews with people saying "My favourite! and I have to say its almost definitely the best thing I've used. After just a week of using this product I can see a great improvement in my skin, which feels softer, more refreshed and generally healthier and its really helped clear my spots too!" as well as reviews saying "I will definitely be replenishing my stock when my supply eventually runs out!"
